>>> AIMS OF THE PROJECT

Our aim is  to identify molecular mechanisms responsible for hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) interactions with the specific bone marrow niches. We want to understand how these interactions change with age and whether these changes drive HSC deterioration.

Therefore, the overall objective of our proposal is to test whether there is a distinct bone marrow niche

that drives expansion of age-related myeloid-biased HSCs.
