Our latest review article The biology of hematopoietic stem cells and its clinical implications is published on The FEBS Journal website.
In this review we tried to describe how understanding the basic biology of HSC can translate into clinical applications. We concentrated on the several issues that were recently clarified or are still a matter of a debate, for example which cells – HSCs or MPPs – are the main drivers of hematopoiesis in normal conditions and after transplantation.
